This weekend in the world of Brawlhalla is Shine 2019 and I couldn’t be more excited! Our boys wrenchd and Sandstorm will be traveling out to Worcester, Massachusetts to compete in their first LAN of August and I think it’s safe to say we’re all excited to see them back in action after such a long break. The last tournament we watched them play was the Super Summer Slayem online event and it didn’t quite go how anyone planned as we faced some technical difficulties- But not this weekend! Wildcard is back and ready to take home some podium finishes- Ruling the Brawlhalla game as we intend to.
In the past couple weeks we’ve seen wrenchd hard at work, constantly practicing and putting out awesome content on his YouTube channel. He’s showing no signs of slowing down and we’re sure that he’ll be going to Shine confident as ever. I mean, he’s Tweeted about feeling good on his gameplay enough! As always, we’re pumped to see some A+ Asuri play.
On the other end of Wildcard and Brawlhalla we obviously have Sandstorm. He had a rough go at the Super Summer Slayem, which we chalked up to his vacation and extended time away from competing- However this weekend we have a feeling he’s out for blood and won’t settle for anything less than gold. He’s been quiet for the most part the last couple weeks, but then again we know how the champ prefers to practice and I’m sure he’s been hard at work.
Singles start tomorrow, Friday Agust 23rd at 12:00PM EST and you can watch it unfold live at http://wildcard.gg/brawlhalla/.
