Wildcard started back in April of 2017- Specifically for the world of League of Legends. After about a two year hiatus we’re incredibly excited to announce that we’re back! It’s been some time since we’ve touched League and Ben, one of Wildcard’s founders, said “The timing seemed right for us now.  We wanted to get back to our roots as Wildcard started as an amatuer League of Legends organization. We have some plans to hopefully further invest in LoL next year and wanted to take this time to better understand the amatuer market in North America.”

We’re happy to welcome our new roster, a group of talented and seasoned players, to the Wildcard family. We definitely believe this deck is stacked, “The team we picked up also has great personalities and supportive staff so it should be a fun run this summer.” says Ben. With players Dae-Il “Tokki” Kim in the top lane, Wei “Tiax” Zhang as our AD carry, Andrew “Slooshi” Pham in the mid lane, Ryan “ShorterACE” Nget in the jungle, Garrett “Gweiss” Weiss as our support, Cindy “Lolly” Fu as our team’s manager, and Akash “Argentum” Gupta as our team’s coach. We can not wait to see this team in action!

Overall it’s safe to assume we are hyped to be back in the League of Legends scene. “We’re Very excited.” Ben says, “It’s a game I love; I used to play it at a fairly high level and it will feel good watching Wildcard partake in the Scouting Ground Circuit.” You’ll be able to watch their first game in the Circuit with Wildcard tonight at 8:00pm EST right here.
