Today we announce that João “horvy” Horvath is no longer a part of the active CS staff and is an unrestricted F/A. Horvy has been our head coach since May 2023 and has helped shape and develop our division since.

Today's announcement may come as a surprise to most, but with mutual agreement between Horvy and Wildcard, we both look to new and exciting times for our futures. We couldn’t have had a better head coach to guide and lead our CS2 roster over the past year and can’t wait to see horvy continue to grow as a person and coach. Thank you, João, for everything as you will always be Wildcard family.

João “horvy” Horvath had this to say about his time with Wildcard:

“I would like to start by thanking everyone that I worked with during this one year under Wildcard. We have been through a great journey, but I have decided that it's my time to go back to my roots in Brazilian counter-strike with the experience I have gained working with great people, especially Piotr “stanislaw” Jarguz, who helped me develop a ton during these last 6 months. I am glad in being able to call everyone friends and part ways on my own terms. I will be cheering for the team and the organization to keep moving forward as I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ben, Griff and Jeremy in management during my period in the organization.”
